Established in 1999, ADC has been providing continuous support to DoD since that time. ADC personnel were the primary authors of the 2010 Joint Theater Air and Missile Defense Employment Concept, DoD’s Cruise Missile Defense Roadmap, and the Inter-Agency Homeland Air Security Employment Concept. ADC led the development of concepts and definitions for the Single Integrated Air Picture (SIAP), Integrated Fire Control (IFC), and Automated Battle Management Aids (ABMA). These concepts and documents are guiding requirements definition and system development in all the Services, and were the impetus for establishment of the National Capital Region Coordination Center (NCRCC). ADC personnel were also the lead planners and test directors for JTAMDO’s 1999-2000 multi-Service demonstration program, which encompassed an extensive series of live-fly and live-fire events. Homeland Air Security efforts range across multiple Federal agencies and include test programs and projects with NORAD and the U.S. Secret Service, among others.
